Career and awards: Brandon got the record for most miles run in a year at
Orem Elementary School. He has been running since he was 10 years old. He holds
the record for fastest marathon in the 14 & under age division at Utah Valley
Marathon. He ran in the International Bix 7 miler in Davenport, Iowa running a
49:43 and got 1st of 116 in his age division and 537th of 11144 people overall. He
won 1st overall in the Team In Training 10k and placed 5th of 165 in the very hilly
Pioneer Classic 10k in 42:23.87. He has won just about all of his races in his age
group. He is currently attending Lakeridge Jr. High School. He is trying to get faster
every day!
