PERSONAL TRAINING:

Hi, this is Mary Ann Schauerhamer. I can help runners and walkers of any ability level to become motivated and knowledgeable about running to improve their fitness and health and reach their running goals.
I will be happy to answer any of your running questions and give you an individualized training and/or nutrition plan in the following ways:

  • Phone: By phone at 415-583-0068 for $10 for a 30 minute session (includes an email with your next 3 months of workouts)
  • Email: I can also give you advice by e-mail at RunnersRaceGuide [at] gmail.com for $5 per email
  • In person sit down/run/walk/other exercise (San Francisco area only): This is the preferred method. Especially the first visit, I would like to meet with you and ask you several questions and make a plan for what to do next. Then we can do the first workout together so I can monitor your workout. We can run in a place of your choice or I can watch while you run on a treadmill. The first 1-hour session costs $20, which includes a follow-up email with a training program for the next 3 months as well as any tips I feel you need. After that, the rates are as follows if you would like to meet regularly so I can monitor your progress and make changes to the program as I see how well you respond to the program:

Payment is due before each visit to the account of RunnersRaceGuide @gmail .com on www.paypal.com or you can mail a check or money order to 225 26th Ave Apt B, San Francisco, CA 94121. You can also bring the payment to the session.

Please understand that although I love to help runners, I am a runner myself and have a lot to do and it is hard to make a living as a professional runner, so although I wish I could just give you my time for free, my time is valuable and limited with all the training and races I have to plan each month as well as advertising for and updating the Utah Running Guide.com website that I have created I simply can not afford to help people unless they compensate me for my time.
